Each year, the Eurodesk Awards collect and highlight Eurodesk multipliers’ most relevant, innovative and empowering projects from the grassroots level.

For the 2025 edition of the Eurodesk Awards, 67 projects from 20 countries competed for 4 prizes.

Following the tradition, a high-level panel, comprising representatives from various organisations, selected the three winners. Then, the 38 National Eurodesk offices designated the Network Prize winner.

The Members of the Jury for the 2025 Eurodesk Awards were:

  • Laura Popa, representing the European Parliament;
  • Mathieu Orphanides, representing the European Commission;
  • Lina Mohorić, representing the Erasmus Student Network;
  • Milosh Ristovski, representing the European Youth Forum;
  • Robert Helm-Pleuger, representing the Eurodesk Network.

The winner of the ‘Creative Youth Information’ category is Farní charita Litomyšl – Volunteer Centre from Czechia, with the project ‘Day Full of Local Volunteering Activities – 2nd edition’.

The "Day Full of Local Volunteering Activities" marked its second edition, involving 9 organisations that showcased volunteering opportunities through fun, engaging activities. Local and international opportunities, including Erasmus+, ESC, and DiscoverEU, were highlighted, with a student sharing youth exchange experiences. The event attracted 160 secondary school students, who explored organisations through quizzes and interactive tasks, earning themed prizes. An Actionbound app route was created to guide participants around Litomyšl, promoting volunteering and international programmes to an additional 50 young people. Eurodesk was widely promoted via social media, local newspapers, posters, and thematic badges. Over 210 young people were informed about volunteering opportunities locally and abroad, fostering cooperation with schools.

Listen To The Sound of My Hands by the Gürsu Municipality from Türkiye was named the winner of the ‘Inclusive Youth Information’ category.

The project, led by Gürsu Municipality as a Eurodesk Contact Point, brought together 40 young participants from five countries to explore communication through the perspective of hearing-impaired individuals, promoting sign language learning, intercultural dialogue, and inclusive access to youth opportunities such as Erasmus+. By combining sign language training, digital resources, and awareness-raising activities, the initiative empowered both hearing and deaf youth, fostered empathy, and contributed to environmental sustainability through eco-conscious practices.

The winner of the ‘Youth Participation & Democracy Award’ is E35 Foundation for international projects from Italy,  with the project Youth4Europe.

The Youth4Europe project, developed by and for young people in Reggio Emilia, promoted active European citizenship and democratic engagement ahead of the 2024 EU elections through workshops, interactive events, and youth-led initiatives in public and informal spaces. By combining education on EU institutions with creative outreach, podcasting, and community activities, while also integrating eco-friendly practices, the project empowered youth to become informed, engaged citizens and fostered a stronger connection between young people and European democratic life.

The Eurodesk National Coordinators named Ingalicia from Spain with the project Movidas Erasmus as the ‘Eurodesk Network Prize' winner.

Movidas Erasmus is a podcast by Asociación Ingalicia, a Eurodesk centre, introducing young people to Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps opportunities. What makes it unique is its storytelling format — each episode presenting real mobility experiences as mystery or horror tales. Strange events and supernatural twists engage listeners while revealing project details. Blending fiction with fact, the podcast entertains and informs, encouraging youth to explore European opportunities through an imaginative and unconventional approach.
