From 20 to 23 May 2025, the Eurodesk Multipliers Seminar took place in Brussels. 49 Eurodesk multipliers from 20 countries had the chance to go to the European capital to meet, network and receive training organised by Eurodesk Brussels Link (EBL).
During the Seminar, the Eurodesk Multipliers heard more about the 2025 Time to Move campaign, brainstormed on the events that they will organise and tested some of the Eurodesk games, which can be found in the new Gamification and game-based learning publication. Additionally, they learnt how Artificial Intelligence can help youth information workers be more inclusive in digital communication, as well as received policy updates from the European Commission and the Youth Partnership of the European Commission and the Council of Europe.
Eurodesk Awards Jury & winners
Following the tradition, the 2025 Eurodesk Awards ceremony was held to highlight the amazing work done by local Eurodesk Multipliers, who have been empowering and helping young people to discover the opportunities that Europe has to offer.
This year, the 5 members of the jury awarded 4 projects, and recognised five additional projects with honourable mentions. Normunds Popens, Deputy Director General at the Directorate General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture at the European Commission and Robert Helm-Pleuger, member of the Eurodesk Executive Committee, opened this year’s ceremony.
All projects can be found in the 2025 Project Catalogue.
“For over 20 years, I have been working as a national coordinator to shape our network at the European level. I am happy and proud to be part of this extraordinary network. "Eurodesk lives Europe" – and every day we open the doors for young people who are seeking opportunities. In times of populism, fascism, and fake news, we are an important building block in Europe's peace process.” From Robert Helm-Pleuger’s speech, during the 2025 Eurodesk Awards ceremony.
The Multipliers’ Seminar was an outstanding event, crucial in emphasising the importance of Eurodesk’s campaigns, particularly Time to Move 2025. Participants felt inspired by the various sessions, returning home with new ideas for their organisations!
These were some of the comments submitted by the multipliers:
“I would like to use AI more often and find out more about gamification methods. I would like to use the ideas or experience of others to upgrade the Time To Move campaign”.
“Thank you for allowing me to come. It's very important for new multipliers to participate in events like that”
“There are so many things that I discovered here. From meeting people and possible collaborators in the future, to the knowledge and ideas for what I can do as a multiplier. My "aha" moment was definitely the awards ceremony, where I found out more about the Eurodesk projects and how I could be one of the winners next year. 😁“
Eurodesk Brussels Link would like to personally express its appreciation to all the multipliers who attended the seminar!
