Projects Catalogue 2024

The Eurodesk Awards were established in 2011 to celebrate the day-to-day work of Eurodesk’s local Multipliers, who are helping young people discover and seize the numerous opportunities Europe has to offer. The organiser of the Eurodesk Awards 2024 initiative, on behalf of the Eurodesk network, is Eurodesk Brussels Link (EBL). In 2024 the organiser received 53 applications from 20 countries.

GUIDE ON YOUTH PARTICIPATION IN YOUTH INFORMATION SERVICES

Eurodesk and Eryica have published this guide in order to clarify what is meant by youth participation in the context of youth information services. It provides guidelines on the various models and formats to ensure the meaningful participation of young people: content creation, peer-to-peer information, co-steering of the services and evaluation, assessment and feedback, as well as good practices from both networks.

EURODESK MOBILITY ADVISOR COMPETENCE FRAMEWORK

The second edition of the competence framework of Eurodesk mobility advisors. This new edition aims to bring even more clarity to the role of a Eurodesk mobility advisor. It incorporates important dimensions such as supporting youth wellbeing. It will be supplemented by several training assessment tools and activities. The competence framework is also better aligned with the Eurodesk six-year strategy for the period 2022-2027.

YOUTH INFO SURVEY

The third edition of the Eurodesk Mobility and the Role of Youth Information Survey targeted young people aged 13 to 35 and aimed at understanding their information patterns and their perception of learning mobility after two years of the COVID-19 global pandemic. The survey report provides a better understanding of the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on young people in terms of mobility. The survey collected 4,061 responses from 74 countries.

A lot of research is available on the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on young people, a bit less on those working with them. Eurodesk Brussels Link carried out an online survey to collect data on the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the Eurodesk network. 90 respondents from 18 countries shared their realities with us.

GREENING YOUTH INFORMATION SERVICES

The aim of youth information is not only to respond to the needs, interests and requests of young people, but also to anticipate their needs and develop services accordingly. This guide was created to explore the role of youth information work in the context of the climate emergency, as well as to provide tips and good practices when it comes to designing and providing greener youth information services.

EURODESK SURVEY 2019 REPORT

The Eurodesk Survey is a multilingual European-wide survey published by Eurodesk Brussels Link. A questionnaire is developed and translated by the Eurodesk Network and then shared with young people all over Europe. At the end of each edition, a report is released to highlight the results of the survey and suggest improvements for local, national and European actors.
